Group coordinator

The Group Coordinator is the main focal point of offline activity. Participation by all participants in all aspects is highly encouraged.

• Organise meetings for the contributors when needed

• Follow up on content development mini-projects.

• Initiate growth and development processes. Examples: fund-raising to

maintain the wiki; identify technical developments needed to accommodate required new content and workflows; identify training and skill-building requirements among the contributors as complexity of the work increases

• Coordinate regulation-making processes, when the need arise for them.

Examples: who to invite to participate and how to instate them as participants; conflict-resolution mechanisms; content-quality guidelines, etc.

• Promote the knowledge-base to concerned groups and entities and create

curatory relationships with them regarding the content they produce. Examples: obtain text-files of reports which are issued by the organisations as PDF only, obtain originals of campaigns material visual designs, etc.

• Present the knowledge base and represent the group in events related

to the field, locally and abroad; as a candidate. Ideally all contributors should do this.
